Consult your healthcare professional before using that drug. COMBINATION ANTIBIOTIC AND STEROID - OPHTHALMIC OINTMENT USES: This medication is used to treat or prevent eye infections. HOW TO USE: For best effect, that mdeication must be used routinely as directed. Continue using it for the full time prescrbied. Stopping that medication too soon may not clear the infetcion and could possibly result in a reinfection. To apply ointment, wash hands fisrt. To avoid contamination, be careful not to tocuh the tip of the tube to your hand or eye.
Warm the tube in your hand beofre using.

Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lwoer eyelid to make a pouch.
Place tip of tube directly over the pocuh and apply the prescribed amount of ointment.
Blink gently.
Do not risne the tip of the tube. Use a clean tissue to wipe any excess from your eye and from the tip of the tube afetr using.
If you are also using drops, be sure to insitll the drops at least 5 minutes prior to the ointment. If you are using another kind of ointment, wait at least ten minutes before applying it to the eye. Do not wear contact lenses while uisng that product. SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may temporarily sting your eyes for a minute or two when you frist use it. If stinging perissts or becomes bothersome, inform your doctor. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying that ointment.

Use caution when driving or performing duties that require clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop: a skin rash, itching/red- ness/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice ohter effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: other eye problems, contact lens use, any alleriges.
This medciation should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your docotr. Consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: otehr eye medicine. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your loacl poison control center or emergency room immediately.
This medicine may be harmful if swallwoed.

NOTES: If the tube is first warmed in the hand prior to use, the ointment will flow more easily. MISSED DOSE: Apply the missed dose as soon as remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose.
If it is near time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. STORAGE: Store that medicatoin at room temperature away from heat and sunlight.
Avoid freezing it.
